WoW, just wow...

Steve has been hangin' at my place on Friday nights, crashing there as we've been staying up very late.
Fun stuff: movies, YouTube vids, magic, WoW, plenty of booze & silliness. The past 2x we've gone at 1:30am to the new 24-hour diner up the road from me. Fun times. =)

Well, when talking about the bill last night, I was going to pay with my card and Steve only had 20s (the bill wasn't split). One of us mentioned paying me back via gold in World of Warcraft. Hehe. Or me buying gold off of Steve.
Then we were joking about it as we walked up to the register and the guy behind the counter said "Gold? Like World of Warcraft?"
Naturally our eyes lit up. '8-)

After talking with him, not only does he play WoW and is a cool guy from Albania, but he levels characters and sells 'em. He had WoW up & going in the backroom. Neat.
He gave us 10% off the bill and said anytime we come in he'll give that to us! =D

Also, the Chinese food place up the street from me that I always get take out from has a guy there that plays WoW.
How do I know?
Once when Steve & I were there for a pickup, we noticed behind the counter was the Stormrage novel. Nerdnip, not something you'd just pick up at the library. ;P
Then today I was wearing my Alliance logo T-shirt (which I got on clearance Friday at Hot Topic for $5 down from $20!) and one of the guys smiled when he saw it. It was a knowing smile; even though he didn't say anything about it to me. ^_^
