Sunday -- "That's What She Said Day" plans fell thru / didn't materialize. Drove around Bmore in the early evening for a bit (exploring & killing time). Got dinner with Peter [tried a new sub at Subway, which is kind of a big deal because previously I only ever ate one, now I've added "Sweet Onion Teriyaki Chicken" to my list of... 2], then we hung out at Spencer's with Spencer & Sara. Watched Hellboy 2 on bluray, followed by playing Left 4 Dead.
Monday -- evening at Jason & Megan's, which included all of our usual good stuff. =) [Had that same sub again to make sure I liked it.]
Tuesday -- Sara was over all afternoon and we job-searched our respective fields. Among various things, we both applied to serious jobs at the British Embassy in DC. I've started to apply to jobs in DC instead of just Baltimore-area. Everyone knows how much I love DC; to work & then live there would be wonderful, the only problem being that all of my friends are in/around Baltimore...
Spencer, Sara, and I watched movies & a few episodes of Pushing Daisies (love it!) for the rest of the night. Unfortunately having a cup of Starbucks coffee combined with sitting down for several hours plus some of the anxiety of our particular topics of conversation drove me nuts, and I was wired all night. It's nice to know they care about my emotions though.
Came home and popped in Cruel Intentions at 3am; hadn't watched it in quite a while, needed to. ;P
Also, found new Limited Edition Bicycle playing cards at Target -- love 'em. High quality, soft edges, nice back design/color, and the custom Joker's face looks like me. ;P
Wednesday -- Earlier-than-normal hang out time with Sara, we picked up Spencer's birthday present she bought [shhhh!], then went to Noble's (bar across the street from Illusions) for a bite to eat (late, late lunch) & to play NTN Trivia (a different game type than Jason & my normal one).
Left her at Illusions, then picked up Shannon and she & I got sushi & martinis at XS, a place I have wanted to go to for a few years actually. That fell into place perfectly, just like I like. Good times there! ^_^
Dropped her off at home later on, then went over to Jim's... He gave me a sw33t silver Kingdom Hearts Keyblade (the Oathkeeper!) keychain he had picked up in Japan back in the Fall! (Beautiful, high quality craftsmanship -- what a great souvenir!) We played a little bit of Devil May Cry 4, then we went to Spencer's to play Jim's game, Fittest (similar to but different than Geometry Wars, and still not ready to be released), as well as Call of Duty: World At War split-screen deathmatch (on the 7' projection).
Wrote this blog entry. Not entirely sure why. ;P
